The Borchert Family 2012′

“I just want to thank Dr. Corpuz, Susan Corpuz and their wonderful staff for their help this summer! My family hosted two orphans from the Ukraine through New Horizons for Children. We provided all their airfare, passport fees, visas, summer and winter clothing, housing, food, etc. Part of the program required that we provide dental care for the children, which they either don’t receive at all in their orphanage or which is very poor. Dr. Corpuz and team very generously donated their services, which was a Godsend. They were great with Andrii and Masha, even with the language barriers, and the kids truly loved them! Thank you very much!”

Via Marie Update 4-3-08
We are so excited to have heard an update on Via Marie. Her social worker interpreted the letter. She attends the public school in her town as a second grader. Via Marie is entitled to these benefits: A supply of rice, groceries, clothing, tuition fees, school supplies, medical and dental assistance, hygienic supplies, Christmas and Easter cards. Via Marie also receives counseling for her and her family. Her family is also required to participate in every activity of the foundation like Family Day, Children’s Month, Feast Day, Father and Mother’s Day and Sports Festival. Via Marie wishes that we could see how happy she was when she knew that she was a sponsored child. She promises that she will do her best in her study.

Here is the latest picture of Via Marie we received with her letter above.

On May 31, 2007, Cady Anne Reynolds was killed in a car accident.  She was 16 years old and was hit by another 16 year old driver.  She was Jenny’s (our receptionist) cousin and next-door neighbor.  The accident has moved Cady’s parents to take action and educate others about safe teenage driving.  We are privileged to be able to support the C.A.R. Foundation and the second annual C.A.R. walk-a-thon on May 30, 2009.  Please join us in supporting this new foundation.  Please visit the website at http://www.walkforcady.org/ for details.

The Corpuz Family Dentistry Team serves dinner at the Siena/Francis House in downtown Omaha several times a year.  The Siena/Francis House provides food, shelter and even medical attention to those who cannot afford to get it anywhere else. They also offer counseling and support for alcohol and drug abuse.  This is a wonderful Omaha charity.  Visit http://www.sienafrancis.org/ for more information.
