Dr. Corpuz grew up in Galesburg, Illinois.  After getting his Bachelor's in Psychology from Creighton University in 1988, he attended the University of Iowa for his D.D.S. which he completed in 1992.  He has been married to our lovely office manager, Susan, for 15 years.  They have four children: Maria (12), Michael (9), Thomas (6), and Katie (4).  The family also has an English Golden Retriever named Millie.  In his time away from the office, Dr. Corpuz enjoys golfing, watching ESPN, coaching his kids' sports teams, and camping with the family.  If it is a Saturday in the fall, Dr. Corpuz will likely be cheering for his beloved Iowa Hawkeye football team.  Dr. Corpuz was recently inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international honorary dental organization recognizing outstanding dentists and celebrating their achievements.  The Academy seeks to support the highest ideals of dentistry throughout the world in both ethical and moral practice, through service to community, country, and profession. 

Susan, our office manager and Dr. Corpuz's lovely wife, was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.  After getting her Bachelor's in Elementary and Special Education from Creighton in 1988, she earned her Masters in Counseling from Creighton in 1992 and soon after married Dr. Corpuz.  Along with attending her kids' many activities, Susan loves to camp, shop, walk, travel, and go to Kona Grill for date nights. 

Tina, one of our two hygienists, has been with Corpuz Family Dentistry since March of 2006.  Tina was born in Buffalo, NY, but grew up in Germany while her father was in the U.S. Air Force.  She moved to Omaha at the age of 17.  She has a degree in Dental Hygiene from Iowa Western Community College (2002) and a Bachelor's in Healthcare Management from Bellevue University (2003).  She and her husband Randy have two girls, Lucie (4) and Mia (2), and a dog named Petey.  In her time away from the office, Tina likes to quilt, read, go horseback riding, cook, bike, and spend time with her family. 

Amy, one of our two dental assistants, has been working with Dr. Corpuz for 11 years and Corpuz Family Dentistry since we opened our doors.  Amy is from La Vista, Nebraska and has a degree in Dental Assisting from Iowa Western Community College (1992).  Amy has two children, Christian (16) and Grace (4), and along with spending time with them, she enjoys reading, listening to music, going to the movies, museums, swimming, and the zoo. 

Kathy, one of our two dental assistants, has been with Corpuz Family Dentistry since May of 2007.  Kathy was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska.  She has a degree in Dental Assisting from Metropolitan Community College (1984). She graduated at the top of her class and she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honorary fraternity.  She and her husband Kevin have three children: Caitie (18), David (16), and Rachel (14), along with a golden retriever named Charlie.  In her free time, Kathy enjoys traveling, walking, going to sporting events, and the Arts. 

Denise, our scheduling coordinator, has been with Corpuz Family Dentistry since July of 2003.  Denise was born and raised on a farm in Southwest Iowa.  She graduated 2^nd in her class with an Associates Degree in Dental Assisting from Iowa Western Community College (1980).  She and her husband Denis have two children: Michael (14) and Melissa (12), along with a dog named Daisy and a cat named Cookie.  Denise loves to cook and serve food, watches the food network religiously and wants to be in her own cooking show someday.  She is very active in her church where she sings with the Praise Team Band and is kitchen manager during the school year.  Denise loves gardening and birds and actually met her husband at Fontenelle Forest during a bird and nature hike.  In January 2008 she adopted another cat.  An 8-year old tabby cat named Tigger.!!  His bio said he rides motorcycles and goes potty in the toilet.  So far he's done neither.  Good luck Denise!!

Jenny, our receptionist, has been with Corpuz Family Dentistry since March of 2006.  Jenny was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska.  She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a degree in Elementary Education (1997).  She has been married to her husband Mark for 9 years and has 4 kids: Mandy (18), Jackson (7), Georgia (5), and Justin (2 ).  Jenny loves to be in the kitchen baking.  Her other interests include singing karaoke and being active in her kids' schools and her church.   Jenny also works part-time at Lifetime Fitness in the childcare center.  She also does our quarterly newsletter for us!!
