Dr. Ralph was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States when he was only 2 years old. He was raised in the small town of Galesburg, Illinois. He did his undergrad degree at Creighton University and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1982. He married Susan and had 4 wonderful children, Maria (16) , Michael (13) , Thomas (10), and Katie (8) . Dr. Ralph enjoys golfing, coaching his kids’ athletic teams, watching sports, and is a current member of the Knights of the Columbus.
Susan, our office manager and Dr. Corpuz’s lovely wife, was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. After getting her Bachelor’s in Elementary and Special Education from Creighton in 1988, she earned her Masters in Counseling from Creighton in 1992 and soon after married Dr. Corpuz. Along with attending her kids’ many activities, Susan loves to camp, shop, walk, travel, and go to Kona Grill for date nights.
Tina, one of our two hygienists, has been with Corpuz Family Dentistry since March of 2006. Tina was born in Buffalo, NY, but grew up in Germany while her father was in the U.S. Air Force. She moved to Omaha at the age of 17. She has a degree in Dental Hygiene from Iowa Western Community College (2002) and a Bachelor’s in Healthcare Management from Bellevue University (2003). She and her husband Randy have two girls, Lucie (5) and Mia (3), and a dog named Petey. In her time away from the office, Tina likes to quilt, read, go horseback riding, cook, bike, and spend time with her family.
Tiffany, one of our two hygienists, has been with Corpuz Family Dentistry since October 2007. Tiffany grew up in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She went to the University of Nebraska-Kearney before getting her hygiene degree from Hastings CCC in 2001. She and her husband Bryce have three children, Keaton (6), Chloe (4) and new baby Claire Eve born in 2009. In her free time, Tiffany likes to stay busy with activities like volleyball, basketball, rollerblading, and water sports, along with spending time with her family.
Amy, one of our two dental assistants, has been working with Dr. Corpuz for 12 years and Corpuz Family Dentistry since we opened our doors. Amy is from La Vista, Nebraska and has a degree in Dental Assisting from Iowa Western Community College (1992). Amy has two children, Christian (18) and Grace (6), and along with spending time with them, she enjoys reading, listening to music, going to the movies, museums, swimming, and the zoo.
Kathy, one of our two dental assistants, has been with Corpuz Family Dentistry since May of 2007. Kathy was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She has a degree in Dental Assisting from Metropolitan Community College (1984). She graduated at the top of her class and she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honorary fraternity. She and her husband Kevin have three children: Caitie (19), David (16), and Rachel (14), along with a golden retriever named Charlie. In her free time, Kathy enjoys traveling, going to sporting events, and the Arts.
Denise, One of our patient specialists, has been with Corpuz Family Dentistry since July of 2003. Denise moved into the account specialist position in the Fall of 2008 because of her prior experience in that area. Denise was born and raised on a farm in Southwest Iowa. She graduated 2nd in her class with an Associates Degree in Dental Assisting from Iowa Western Community College (1980). She and her husband Denis have two children: Michael (15) and Melissa (13), along with a dog named Daisy and a cat named Cookie. Denise loves to cook and serve food, watches the food network religiously and wants to be in her own cooking show someday. She is very active in her church where she sings with the Praise Team Band and is kitchen manager during the school year. Denise loves gardening and birds and actually met her husband at Fontenelle Forest during a bird and nature hike. In January 2008 she adopted another cat. An 8-year old tabby cat named Tigger.! His bio said he rides motorcycles and goes potty in the toilet. So far he’s done neither. Good luck Denise!
Gwen, one of patient specialists, just recently joined the Corpuz Family in April 2010. Gwen was born and raised in California, and graduated from Southern California College of Medical and Dental Careers with a degree in Dental Assisting (1975). She has two children: Brandon (26) and Carmen (23), along with her Lhasa/Peke dog named Mason. In her free time she enjoys long walks, exercising, reading, gardening, spending time with friends and family, and serving in various non-profit ministries.
